Has experience in managing public policies for family farming. Is a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences - FCS of the Federal University of Goiás - FCS/UFG, the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFG (PPGS/UFG) - Master's and Doctoral levels -, the Graduate Program in Conservation and Sustainability at UFSCar (PPGCS/UFSCar) - Master's level -, and the Graduate Program in Territorial Development and Environment at the University of Araraquara (PPGDTMA/UNIARA) - Master's and Doctoral levels. Has conducted research in the areas of Public Policy, Rural Sociology, and Agrarian Economics, with an emphasis on themes such as agrarian/land policies, socio-environmental conflicts, family farming, food security, and social capital.
