Birthplace: Brazil

I have a degree in biology with an emphasis in ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a master's degree in Ecology and Biodiversity from the São Paulo State University (UNESP) - Rio Claro. During undergraduate, I worked with population dynamics and wildlife management of reintroduced agoutis (Dasyprocta leporina) in the Tijuca National Park, RJ, together with the Laboratory of Population Ecology and Conservation (LECP) at UFRJ. In my master's degree, I investigated how the woolly monkeys (Lagothrix cana) affected the seed dispersal effectiveness of Amazonian species at the Laboratory of Primatology at UNESP (LaP). I am very interested in population dynamics, species interactions, wildlife management and conservation. Currently, I am a field biologist associated with the Panthera institution in the Northern Pantanal. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
