Camila has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade Franciscana (2016) and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas in the area of Materials and Manufacturing Processes (2019). She works as a Research and Development Engineer at Boston Scientific, being responsible for the factory's technical and scientific support in the area of chemical solutions and biological materials, tissue control and processing, and regulatory compliance for medical devices. Previously, worked as a research and development analyst III at Products and Features Brasil, being responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of preclinical tests for implantable medical devices (class III and IV). She worked as a scholarship holder at the PIPE Program - Innovative Research in Small Businesses, for the company Revolugenix Biotecnologia Ltda (2018-2019), where she assisted in the development of cell support material ("scaffolds") for application in tissue engineering. During the university, was an intern at the Microfabrication Laboratory belonging to the National Nanotechnology Laboratory of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (2015-2016), where she developed studies related to point-of-care platforms for protein quantification and microfabrication and microfluidics research. Also, she carried out scientific monitoring (Teaching Assistant) for the General Chemistry subject (2012), at the Franciscan University, and developed scientific initiation projects (2012-2015) with scholarships provided by CNPq (PIBIC and PIBIT), where she worked on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes and the functionalization of carbon nanomaterials.
