She received a scholarship from the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), for scientific initiation in the area of General Physiology, at the Laboratory of Metabolism and Reproduction of Aquatic Organisms (LAMEROA), at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (IB /USP).
