He was a Researcher with São Paulo State University (UNESP). Received the B. Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras in 2011, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the UNESP in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at UNESP in 2018. He was a visiting Ph. D. candidate at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland, for about four months. The main research interests include the development of methodologies for expansion and operation planning of electrical distribution systems, integration of renewable energy systems and storage energy systems, environmental issues, and optimization techniques.
