Paulo Nocera Alves Junior is currently Assistant Professor at the Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN), Escuela de Ingeniería de Coquimbo (EIC), Coquimbo, Chile. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP/ESALQ/ESALQ-LOG). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP/EESC), a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the São Paulo State University (UNESP/FEB), and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Franca (UNIFRAN). His research interests lie in the following subjects: inventory control, logistics, supply chain, sustainability, efficiency analysis, operations research, data envelopment analysis, optimal control theory, multivariate analysis, and quantitative methods.
