Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Pharmacy from the Universidade de Araraquara (2006-2010). Postgraduate in Biosciences and Biotechnology Applied to the Pharmacy Area at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). Developed (master - 2010-2012) the prospection of biomolecules derived from gallic acid for antifungal therapy. Used in vitro techniques through internationally standardized protocols to determine minimum inhibitory concentration and selectivity index through cytotoxicity assays using different cell lines. Studied the influence of these biomolecules on proteomic profile of fungus Paracoccidioides spp. through identification by sequencing and gene expression. Analyzed (doctorate - 2012-2016) decyl gallate activity in fungus Paracoccidioides spp interaction to different types of cell lines using direct fluorescence microscopy techniques and flow cytometry (quantification of internalization and adhesion). Studied decyl gallate activity in Galleria mellonella model alternativeby analyzes of survival curve and interaction rate with hemocytes by flow cytometry. Made part of doctorate at the University of Toronto, Canada (2014-2015). Studied mutant strains of S. cereviseae according to chemical-genetic interaction methodology, analyzing the mechanism of action of decyl gallate. Constructed a sensitive triple mutant with GFP sequence integrated with the gene sequence of interest to analyze the influence of decyl gallate on the affected pathways. Worked as a Postdoctoral Student (2016-2017) for the study of decyl gallate in the modulation of nitric oxide production in a cell culture model (macrophages) and the alternative model Galleria mellonella, and at the Faculty of Dentistry -UNESP (2018-2021) conducting research in the area of potentially active biomaterials against bacterial and fungal biofilms, involving different microbiological and cell culture assays, mainly flow cytometric analysis. Always was directly involved in helping and conducting experiments for students using the cytometry platform (FacsCanto and FascsAria). Through different courses with certification and participation in congresses, national and international, presents experience in laboratory research with the manipulation of pathogenic fungi, cell culture, analysis by flow cytometry and multiparametric microscopy, molecular biology techniques and protein identification by sequencing, animal model management and alternative.
