Researcher and MSc in maritime affairs at the World Maritime University (Sweden), a specialized institution of the IMO and UN, and specialist in Sustainability, Governance and Ocean Management. She was awarded with the best student prize of her specialization in 2022 class. She also holds a MSc in Oceanography (Oceanographic Institute of USP), where she was part of the Fishery Resources Laboratory (LabPesq). She has dedicated her career to issues related to the oceans and marine environments since 2014, when she completed her graduatioon tesis on ocean literacy and environmental education. She holds a bachelor's degree and a degree in biological sciences from the Biosciences Institute of UNESP Rio Claro. She has already worked with interviews with fisheries stakeholders on the South Brazil Bight and has focused her work on topics such as marine environmental systems and human activities impacts, ocean governance and policy, international maritime agreements, fisheries, fisheries resources and climate change. Her research themes addressed the areas of environmental protection and impacts of human activities on marine ecological components, ocean regulatory instruments in the South Mid Atlantic Rigde (Brazil and UK), human dimension and fisheries policy with a focus on climate change and vulnerability of fishing communities. of the South Brazil Bight. She is interested in developing himself in the area of #8203;#8203;marine governance and management and aims to contribute to the advancement of the SDGs and the Oceans Decade.During her academic training he was involved in extracurricular activities since the first year of graduation, he participated in extension and research groups. During her studies in Sweden, she was the class representative on the WMU student council and participated in the founding of the WMU Latin america alumni association, endorsed by IMO.She took several extracurricular courses and participates on volunteer work with marine conservation and rescue and rehabilitation of marine animals (chelonians, marine birds and marine mammals).
