Laura Minatel Bortolato

Agricultural Engineer and Graduate in Agricultural Science from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luíz de Queiroz" - USP (2022). Currently, I have a Master's degree in Science from the Forest Resources program at the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luíz de Queiroz" - USP, with a concentration in Forest Resources and an option in Silviculture and Forest Management (2024).During my undergraduate studies, I had experience with a Scientific Initiation in the area of #8203;#8203;Biostimulants in Large Crops for a period of one year, and I actively participated in the Laboratory of Tissue Culture and Ornamental Plants at ESALQ-USP with a focus on the Tissue Culture Area, where I completed my TCC and was a member of the team for the "Deep Space Food Challenge" competition held by NASA and CSA during the 1st and 2nd phases, in which we were the only Brazilian university with a project approved to participate in the competition.During my master's degree at the Laboratory of Tissue Culture and Ornamental Plants at ESALQ-USP, I was able to develop personally and professionally by dealing with laboratory challenges such as the use of laboratory equipment and tools, people management, teamwork, product management, local hygiene control and organization, in addition to good laboratory practices, thus acquiring great experience in the laboratory area. In addition, in the Tissue Culture Area, I also carried out activities such as developing a Propagation Protocol for the project species, propagating and assisting in the propagation of other species in the laboratory and/or belonging to other concurrent projects, and participating in events. My project also allowed me to have experience in other areas and laboratories, such as in the area of #8203;#8203;Microscopy Analysis, Histochemical Tests, and Natural Pigments, with a greater focus on the area of #8203;#8203;Plant Propagation using Tissue Culture.
