Paulo Sergio Martins Pedro

Paulo Martins was awarded a Ph.D in Computer Science from the Real-Time Systems Group, The University of York, UK (2000), a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Automation from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1993) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from the same Institution (1988). Martins has over 16 years of international experience in Computer Science / Engineering working in both the academia and the industry (UK, US and Brazil). His interestests cover several aspects of Real-Time Systems, including schedulability theory and schedulability analysis, as well as computer networks and sensor networks. Recently he has worked in a Research and Development project as the PI for the Wright-Patterson Air Force Research Lab. His work is motivated by real-world applications.
