PhD student in the Graduate Program in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), where she develops research focused on conservation genomics, aiming to investigate the genetic structure, diversity, and adaptive potential of the black lion tamarin (Leontopithecus chrysopygus). Holds a Masters degree from the same program, with a dissertation entitled "Genetic diversity, historical demography, and socio-reproductive aspects of the black lion tamarin (Leontopithecus chrysopygus)". Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UFSCar (2021). During her undergraduate studies, she worked in the Laboratory of Molecular Biodiversity and Conservation (UFSCar), conducting research on genetic diversity and kinship in captive and wild populations of L. chrysopygus using microsatellite markers.
