Ramon Antônio Oliveira

Dr. Oliveira holds a Doctorate in Sciences with a research internship at the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom) and a Masters degree in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Adult Health Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a specialization in High-Complexity Nursing Care from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of São Paulo. Dr. Oliveira is the official representative of USPs School of Nursing in the Health Technology Assessment Center of the Hospital das Clínicas at the University of São Paulo Medical School. He leads the research group Technologies and Nursing Interventions in Adult Health with a Focus on Surgical Patients (EEUSP) and also serves as the primary representative of EEUSP in the same Health Technology Assessment Center. His work focuses on solid organ transplant nursing, perioperative nursing with an emphasis on the prevention of healthcare-associated infections, and health technology assessment.
