Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Western Bahia (UFOB), with extensive experience in technological innovation and technology scouting. He holds a Ph.D. in Technology in Information and Communication Systems from UNICAMP, a Master's degree in Science, Technology, and Society from UFSCar, and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering (UNICEP) and Telematics (Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas).He has experience in information systems, technological innovation, digital image processing, and machine learning for pattern analysis. He coordinated a PIPE/FAPESP (Phase I) research project and currently teaches in the Interdisciplinary Bachelors in Science and Technology and the Graduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT).His research focuses on the application of technological innovation in biotechnology for women's health, cervical cancer screening, and the use of artificial intelligence for laboratory diagnostics in agribusiness.
