Biomedical Scientist specialized in Immunology from the "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" State University (UNESP), and I hold a Master's degree in Sciences, specializing in Pathology, from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu (FMB). During my Master's program, I was a scholarship recipient from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) at the Laboratory of Immunopathology and Infectious Agents (LIAI) in the Experimental Research Unit (UNIPEX), where I conducted research on the immune response of neutrophils in COVID-19 and engaged in scientific research activities. Furthermore, during my undergraduate studies and Scientific Initiation, I had the opportunity to undertake a short-term Academic Researcher internship at the University of Calgary (UofC), Canada, focusing on studying the neutrophil response to pathogens using Intravital Microscopy. Additionally, I held research scholarships from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in Tropical Diseases and from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in Immunopathology of Infectious Agents.
