I am a biologist graduated from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), with a master's, doctorate, and postdoctoral degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from São Paulo State University (UNESP). My research focuses on carcinology, with an emphasis on freshwater, estuarine, and marine decapod crustaceans. I have experience in integrative taxonomy, reproductive biology, and population ecology. Currently, I develop methods for the ultrastructural and morphometric analysis of caridean shrimp spermatozoa, aiming to integrate morphological and molecular data to advance the understanding of reproductive evolution in Decapoda. I participate in projects on population dynamics and the conservation status of threatened species and collaborate in research networks to preserve aquatic biodiversity in Brazilian river basins. I am a reviewer for scientific journals and have publications in international and national journals, contributing to the knowledge of the Neotropical carcinofauna and endangered environments.
