Fernanda Cristina Bérgamo Alves

Graduated (Full Degree) in Biology from the State University of Northern Paraná (2009) and Specialization in Applied Biochemistry from the State University of Londrina (2010-2011). Master and Ph.D. in General and Applied Biology - Concentration: Biology of Parasites and Microorganisms (IBB/UNESP). She is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the thematic project "DIAMATER" at the Center for Research on Perinatal Diabetes at FMB UNESP, developing studies on the relationship between Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) and Specific-Urinary Incontinence of Pregnancy (PSUI) in Gestational Diabetic Myopathy. Associate researcher in two projects with research support from FAPESP "Characterization of the urinary microbiota and analysis of the urobiome of hyperglycemic pregnant women? and ?Natural antimicrobials on pathogenic bacteria with emphasis on the elaboration of nanoemulsions and gold nanoparticles?.
