Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Botucatu Institute of Biosciences (IBB/UNESP). Master's and PhD candidate in General and Applied Biology (Center of Concentration: Structural and Functional Cell Biology) (CAPES classification 6), under the guidance of Professor Dr. Luis Antonio Justulin Jr., at the IBB's Developmental Biology and Multi-Omics Lab (DBMOL). Focused on the DOHaD concept, during his Scientific Initiation, he investigated the morphophysiological impact of Maternal Protein Restriction and the role of estrogen in the modulation of miRNAs in the rodent prostate. During his Master's degree, he worked on the epigenetic mechanisms of the Developmental Origins of Prostate Cancer, particularly non-coding RNAs. Currently, he is dedicated to understanding the prostate microenvironment reprogrammed by estrogenic imprinting. The work tools used are: histotechniques and staining, in silico analyses (transcriptome, microRNome and proteomics) and integration with clinical data from patients with Prostate Cancer, RT-qPCR, cell culture (siRNA, MTT, Wound Healing, 3D ECM Production, survival assay and isolation of cells in primary culture), confocal and electron microscopy, western blot and zymography.
