Bachelor (BSc) of Pharmacy (Universidade Estadual de Campinas UNICAMP) in 2021, and Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacology with emphasis on Toxicology and Toxinology from UNICAMP (2024). He is currently a PhD student in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences - UNICAMP, in the area of Toxinology and Toxicology at the Campinas Poison Control Center (CIATox - Campinas), evaluating the therapeutic potential of different phytocannabinoids in animal models of epilepsy through behavioral and molecular approaches (transcriptomics, metabolomics and lipidomics). Alexandre is member of the Young Toxicologists Committee (CJTOX) of the Brazilian Society of Toxicology (SBTox) and member of the Young Researchers of the Brazilian League of Epilepsy (LBE). He has also experience in Neurosciences, specifically employing OMICs (proteomics and metabolomics) and biotechnological approaches in the study of neurodegenerative diseases, and in drug metabolism and other ADME assays of drugs of abuse using in vitro and in vivo methods through High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS). It also has experience in Quality Control of the production and monitoring of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and high-potency APIs (HPAPIs), through the use of various physical-chemical and instrumental techniques (Cristália Produtos Químicos Farmacêuticos LTDA - 2021-2022).
