Son of farmers who engaged in commercial vegetable cultivation for approximately 30 years. Agronomy, graduated from the Federal University of Pampa (2013). Master's degree in Agronomy from the State University of the Midwest (2015) and PhD in Agronomy (Plant Production) from the same University (2017). Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Federal University of Lavras, with emphasis on Vegetable Breeding (2018). Worked between 2018-2021 as a professor/researcher at the University of Western São Paulo (Unoeste), where he was the creator and leader of the Center for Studies in Olericulture and Fruiticulture of Western São Paulo, and in 2021 he served as the vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Agronomy. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Crop Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He has experience in the field of Agronomy/Crop Science, with emphasis on vegetable breeding and production. At UFSC, he is the leader of the Santa Catarina Olericulture Study Group, advisor to the Junior Agribusiness Advisory Company of UFSC, and also participates and collaborates with research groups in national and international institutions. He supervises undergraduate and graduate students in research related to genetic improvement and physiology of vegetable production. He is a permanent faculty member in the Graduate Programs in Plant Genetic Resources at UFSC and in the Graduate Program in Agronomy at Unoeste. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
