Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (IB-USP). Master's degree from the Graduate Program in General Physiology of IB-USP. Interested in symbiont microorganisms, bioinformatics, cellular and molecular biology of marine invertebrates. I worked with echinoderm coelomocytes, mainly from sea urchins. Currently, I investigate the nature of the association between microeukaryotes, mainly Labyrinthulomycetes and marine sponges considering different levels of biological organization.
