Graduated in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006), master's degree (2008) and doctorate (2012) in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Post-Doctoral at University of São Paulo (2015) and Instituto Butantan (2021). Currently, she works as a researcher in the Immunochemistry Laboratory at the Butantan Institute. Has experience in the fields of molecular biology, immunology, toxinology, and parasitology, working on the following topics: molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating inflammatory responses and identification of new therapeutic targets for the treatment of immune-mediated diseases, biological effects of toxins present in animal venoms on in vitro cellular models, and investigation of the therapeutic potential of these molecules as prototypes for the development of new drugs.
