He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics Education (Licenciatura Plena) from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007), a Masters degree (2010), and a Ph.D. (2015) in Physics from the University of São Paulo. His research focuses on Computational Physics and Theoretical Chemistry, with an emphasis on ab initio simulations, density functional theory (DFT), and electronic transport in nanostructured and bioinspired systems. He develops studies on carbon-based materials, bioelectrochemical interfaces, redox enzymes, and molecular devices, with particular interest in electron transfer mechanisms and sustainable energy conversion.He is a Professor of Physics at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) Matão Campus, where he teaches undergraduate and technical courses and coordinates projects in computational materials science and technological innovation. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Research and Innovation at IFSP Matão, is a CNPq Productivity Research Fellow (Level C), and the Principal Investigator of a FAPESP Regular Research Grant (2023/17506-6).He has previously coordinated technological innovation projects supported by EMBRAPII, is a member of the National Institute for Organic Electronics (INCT-INEO), and an associate researcher of the BrazilGermany FAPESP-funded project (BioGrEdge), focused on bioinspired materials and advanced electrochemical devices at graphene edges.
