Graduated in Biomedical Sciences from the Biomedical Sciences Institute at the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP), with a specialization in Biochemistry and Parasitology. Was a scholarship recipient supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) for the research project titled 'Characterization of manganese transport through the iron transporter LIR1 in Leishmania.' During undergraduate studies, participated as a student representative in the Human Rights Committee (CDH-ICB/USP) and as vice-president of the Rosalind Franklin Academic Center (CARF).
