Did his undergraduation in Biomedicine and his Master's in Biology of Infectious Agents at the Federal University of Pará. In 2014, he defended his PhD thesis in the Post-graduation Program of Basic and Applied Immunology at the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto from the University of São Paulo (USP). From March 2014 to June 2018, he did his post-doctoral training at the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre, in Toronto, Canada, which is is one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world. He currently is a Scientific Researcher of the A.C.Camargo Cancer Center, in São Paulo, where he leads the Translational Imuno-oncology Group. He is also the coordinator of the Flow Cytometry Facility from the Translational Imuno-oncology Group and supervisor of the Oncology Post-Graduation Program at the Antonio Prudente Foundation/A.C.Camargo Cancer Center, where he lectures post-graduation courses of Immune-Oncology and Epigenetic Regulation of the Immune Response. He currently is the coordinator of the Committee on Animal Research and Ethics (REB) and member of the Institutional Biosafety and Scientific Initiation Committees from the Antonio Prudente Foundation.
