Eduarda Helena Marchi Dias

I am an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil and at CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay in France.During my initial years at UNICAMP, I had the opportunity to undertake two research projects in the field of catalysis. The first one focused on the impact of niobium oxide as a catalyst in biofuel production, funded by CNPq. The second research, funded by FAPESP, delved into the role of gold alloys in methane oxidation to methanol as a means to reduce pollution originating from activities such as oil extraction. Throughout these research projects, I presented my work in Fapesp at conferences such as PIBIC, I participated in congress like the Catalysis Congress, and participated in catalyst characterizations at the National Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS).In 2021, I embarked on a dual-degree program in France and concentrated my studies at CentraleSupélec on bioprocesses, genetics, and biotechnology. During this period, I had the opportunity to lead a team in the automation of biogas production, considering various contaminations and proposing feasible alternative routes.Subsequently, I pursued a specialization in data strategy and digital transformation at CentraleSupélec, which led to a six-month stint as a data consultant at a company in Paris.Following this consulting experience, I am keen to further specialize in the field of research, with a focus on biotechnology, which has always been my primary area of interest. I am confident that I can apply not only my knowledge as a chemical engineer but also the skills I have acquired through my experiences outside the realm of research (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
