Fernando Berton Baldo

Graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade São Francisco (2008). Master in Health, Food and Environmental Safety in Agribusiness from Instituto Biológico (2012), developing experience in the area of Phytosanitary and Population Ecology, with emphasis on Agricultural Acarology and Agricultural Entomology. PhD in Health, Food and Environmental Safety in Agribusiness from Instituto Biológico (2017), where he worked in the Economic Entomology laboratory, developing research with gamma radiation and hydrothermal treatments in the area of post-harvest technology with a focus on fruit flies. Post-Doctorate in the development of research with bacteria for the control of insect pests in the Biological Control laboratory of the Biological Institute with a Fapesp grant. He currently works in the Biological Control laboratory at the Biological Institute, where he coordinates and develops research with bacteria and entomopathogenic nematodes for biological control.
