He has a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Astrophysics by the Universidade de São Paulo, as well as a double degree PhD diploma in Astronomy, by the Universidade de São Paulo and the Université de Bordeaux I. Now he is working as a researcher at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, at the SIM Laboratory - Systems, Instrumentation and Modeling in Science and Technology for Space and the Environment. He has experience in Astronomy&Astrophysics, working mainly in the scientific and technical (software) preparation of the ESA's Gaia space mission. In the past, he has worked on simulations of hadronic interactions of cosmic rays with the Milky way's central region. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
