Abstract
Pro-inflammatory macrophages, as those activated with LPS and INF-³ (³), are characterized by NF-ºB activation, pro-inflammatory cytokine induction (IL-1, IL-6, IL-12, TNF-±), and nitric oxide (NO) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production.
