Bárbara Dalmaso

PhD in Sciences with a focus on Systems Biology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP), including a research exchange at the Department of Zoology at Technische Universität Braunschweig (Braunschweig, Germany) (2025). Holds an MBA in Data Science Analytics from ESALQ/USP (2024), a specialization in Data Science and Genomic Data Science from Johns Hopkins University (2020), and a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences from ICB/USP, with a research exchange in Bioengineering at William Marsh Rice University (Houston, USA) (2018). Conducted research in Bioinformatics at the Leibniz Institute (Braunschweig, Germany) in 2024 and in Bioengineering at the Bioscience Research Collaborative at Rice University (Houston, USA) in 2018. Received a PIBIC/CNPq undergraduate research scholarship for three years, studying tumor immunopharmacology at ICB/USP (2017), earning an honorable mention and a thesis of honor award from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA). Interested in bioinformatics and molecular biology, with applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence to study physiological effects and transcriptional variability induced by immunomodulatory lipids.
