Bachelor's at Biomedical Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP-Botucatu, 2007), master's (2010) and PhD (2014) at Infectious and Parasitic Illnesses from Botucatu Medical School - UNESP and post-doctoral training in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology from the Institute of Biosciences of Botucatu - UNESP (2017). She works in the field of Immunology, mainly cellular Immunology, with emphasis on immunomodulation and autoimmunity. She has experience in experimental models of malnutrition and autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. In these models, she has been investigated the effect of vaccines, infections by Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans, and immunomodulatory substances such as vitamin D and hydroxychloroquine. She has knowledge on techniques that involve mainly the characterization and the evaluation of the immune system in experimental models, including: enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, western blott, polymerase chain reaction (conventional and real-time), cell culture and flow cytometry.
