I have a bachelor's degree in Physics by the State University of Maringá and a master's and PhD by the Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT-UNESP and I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the University of Padova for two years. My research is mainly focused in the analysis of integrable field theories and quantum integrable systems. One of the main problems in theoretical physics is that the majority of the knowledge that we can extract from quantum field theories is based on perturbative methods and besides all the success and hundreds of derived predictions there is a variety of problems, like confinement in QCD, that can be tackled only by non-perturbative methods. A way of studying these methods is by considering integrable models, because these are models that are exactly solvable, that is, no perturbative approximation is involved. My research looks how can we leverage on this knowledge of integrable models to understand complex non-perturbative problems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
