Birthplace: Brazil

A degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Pará (2010), a Master's degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013) and a PhD in Meteorology from the National Institute for Space Research (2018). During the Graduation she researched on the impact that the extreme events of precipitation cause the city and society of Belém-PA. In the Masters, the aim was to understand the patterns of low frequency variability of the intrassonal, interannual and interdecadal scales that influenced the precipitation of the Amazon. She had professional experience in the Sound Alarm System of Rio de Janeiro and Alerta Rio and realized that the nowcasting could be better. She entered the doctorate and specialized in studies in the areas of Data Assimilation, Numerical Modeling with the WRF model, Squall Lines and Water vapor estimated by GPS ground based. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at CAPES at the University of São Paulo and develops research on the Environmental Governance of Macrometrópole Paulista in the face of climatic variability project.
