Graduated in Agricultural Engineering (2008), Master's degree in Plant Production with an emphasis on family farming (2010) from the Federal University of Acre and PhD in Tropical Forest Sciences (2017) from the National Institute for Amazonian Research. She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Acre Campus Floresta in Cruzeiro do Sul, where she works as a supervisor in the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Sciences and coordinates the Laboratory of Geoprocessing Applied to the Environment (LabGAMA). She develops research focused on spatial analysis of land use, burning and forest fires in the Amazon. She was elected an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences for the 2024-2028 term and a contributor to the Science Panel for the Amazon. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
