Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (2015), where she completed her final project on osmotic regulation in oysters at the Animal Ecophysiology Laboratory (LEFA). She earned her Master's (2018) and Ph.D. (2023) degrees in General Physiology from the University of São Paulo (USP), researching the effects of melatonin and environmental variables (light and temperature) on crustacean molting cycles. Currently, she is affiliated with the Institute of Biophysics at UFRJ, investigating the impact of coal tar and other contaminants on amphipods. She has experience in techniques such as quantitative PCR, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, cell culture, and proteogenomics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
