.Agronomic Engineer, pursuing her Master's degree in Soil and Plant Nutrition at ESALQ-USP. I focused my undergraduate studies in Soil Science, and did an internship in the area for three years. I started my experience as a volunteer in the laboratory for one year, where I helped post-graduates with sample collection and analysis. Later, I was a scholarship holder of the extension project "PERMANENT EXPOSURE OF REFERENCE SOILS OF SÃO PAULO STATE" through the Unified Scholarship Program (PUB- USP) for one year. Throughout this project I was able to collect soil profiles to build monoliths, learn about soil classification, perform chemical and physical analyses, and help monitor the discipline "Genesis, Morphology and Soil Classification". After that, I started my Scientific Initiation with the project "CARACTERIZATION AND GENESIS OF SURFACE HORIZONS IN TECNOSSOLS FORMED FROM CALCARY REWARDS" financed by FAPESP, in which I checked the carbon stocks and organic matter accumulation in these soils. During this experience, I had the opportunity to present some results at the Latin American Congress of Soil Science in Uruguay, and also, at the International Symposium of Scientific and Technological Initiation at USP (SIICUSP). Finally, I presented all the results and analyses of this Scientific Initiation as my End of Course Work (TCC). Currently, I am finishing my master's degree in the same area in which I had the possibility to attend more specific disciplines, write a project and conduct an experiment focused on the development and elaboration of Technosols and, in addition to that, to do monitoring in two disciplines: "Genesis, Morphology and Soil Classification" and "Geology applied to soils".I intend to continue developing research with Soil Science, focusing mainly on soil geochemistry and environmental studies, being able to disseminate science, innovation and technology in this area.
