Henri Rossi Pinheiro

He has a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology in the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel, 2008), Master's (2010) and Doctorate (2018) in Meteorology in the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) with a sandwich doctorate from the University of Reading (England). He was meteorologist forecaster from 2010 to 2014 in the Weather Forecast Group (GPT) of the Center for Weather Forecast and Climatic Studies (CPTEC). He is a collaborating researcher at the Climatic Studies Group (GrEC) at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (IAG) / USP. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the IAG. He has experience in the area of synoptic meteorology, weather forecasting and climate, working on the following topics: cut-off lows, cyclogenesis, low-frequency variability, regional and global modeling, intercomparison of reanalyses and models and climate changes.
