I am currently a Ph.D.student in Chemistry at the Graduate Program of UFSCAr in São Carlos, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Daniel Souza Corrêa and co-supervision of Professor Dr. Luiza Amim Mercante. My research is conducted at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA - Instrumentation), focusing on the development of 0D, 1D, and 2D composite nanomaterials with an emphasis on environmental applications.I completed my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (2018-2022) and my Master's degree in Chemistry (2022-2024) at the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara, São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (IQ-Ar/UNESP). During my undergraduate studies, I served as a volunteer advisor at Química Júnior in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, I was a FAPESP fellow, working on the project "Synthesis and characterization of structural and optical properties of mixed complexes of tenoyltrifluoroacetonate and diphenylphosphinate ligands with trivalent rare earth ions." During my master's degree, I developed the project "Synthesis and characterization of metal oxide heterostructures: a new structure for acetone sensing," under the supervision of Professor Dr. Marcelo Ornaghi Orlandi, funded by CAPES. Additionally, I worked as a scientific journalist and assisted in implementing the Monday.com platform at the Unesp Innovation Agency (AUIN).Contact: douglasscarabello17@gmail.com (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
