I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2008), a Master's degree in Biology (Ecology) from the National Institute of Amazonian Research - INPA (2012) and a PhD from Imperial College London, UK (2018). My general scientific interests involve the study of the structure and functioning of tropical terrestrial ecosystems and plant trait associations. I'm further interested in working with nature-based solutions by applying ecological concepts in ecosystem restoration. I am involved in research dealing with: plant-soil interaction, carbon stocks, biogeochemical cycles, ecophysiology and wood traits. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
