Prof. Eduardo graduated in Chemistry (2011) and obtained his Master (2014) and Ph.D. (2018) in Physical Organic Chemistry at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, Florianópolis, Brazil) in the Laboratory of Catalysis and Interfacial Phenomena (LaCFI), with special focus on the kinetic and mechanistic investigation of phosphoryl and acyl transfer reactions, in ground and excited states, as well as on the investigation of supramolecular effects on such reactions. A doctoral stay was carried out at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), on Supramolecular Chemistry. After carrying out postdoctoral investigations at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) on catalytic systems based on metallic nanoparticles in colloidal systems, he joined the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) as an Assistant Professor in 2022. He is currently the vice-coordinator of the Chemistry Postgraduate Program (PPGQ) of UFRRJ (2025-2027). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
