Postdoctoral fellow in the Rehabilitation Sciences program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo. Currently, I am part of a research project financed by FAPESP, investigating the effects of exercised aimed for the foot-ankle complex on running mechanics and incidence of injuries in runners. I have a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, financed by the Science without Borders Scholarship (CAPES) and a M.Sc. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo. With a B.A. in Physical Therapy from the University of Sao Paulo, Specialist in Functional Reeducation of Posture and Movement at the Clinics Hospital of the University of Sao Paulo and Acupuncturist Technician at the Institute of Integrated and Eastern Therapy, I have clinical experience in treating musculoskeletal pain. Formerly I taught courses in Anatomy and Massage Techniques at the Institute of Integrated and Eastern Therapy, and I also was an instructor in the Pilates Method Instructor Formation Course - Functional Posture Pilates.
