Birthplace: Brazil

PhD candidate in the Materials Science and Technology Program at UNESP, funded by CAPES. Holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Universidade do Sagrado Coração (USC), a postgraduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Universidade de Araraquara (UNIARA), pedagogical training for teaching with a Biology degree from Universidade de Franca (UNIFRAN), and a master's degree in Biotechnology in Regenerative Medicine and Medicinal Chemistry (UNIARA), funded by FAPESP.She is a member of the Applied Physics to Nanomaterials Group (GFAMN) and has experience in research groups such as GEONE and BioPolMat. She participated in undergraduate research projects in biotechnology, regenerative medicine, pharmacognosy, and toxicology, including the development of biomaterials for renal and pancreatic regeneration in experimental Diabetes mellitus models. This work was recognized with an honorable mention (1st place) at the Pharmacy Conference (2018).During her master's studies, she developed a project titled "Corn Starch Crosslinking by Diels-Alder Reaction," focused on the synthesis and characterization of biomaterials, specifically hydrogels for cell delivery. The project utilized material characterization techniques such as 1H NMR, FTIR, and conductometric titration. It received an honorable mention (1st place) at the International 3D Bioprinting Congress (2020).Currently, in her PhD, she is developing first- and second-generation lipid nanocarriers (SLN and NLC) for the delivery of phytochemicals, specifically Artepillin C and Brazilian green propolis extract, with potential applications in healthcare. She has training in handling small and medium-sized rodents and participated in outreach projects such as "Pharmaceutical Assistance and Care for Diabetic Patients."Additionally, she has teaching experience as a temporary professor for the State Government of São Paulo (2015-2020), teaching Science, Biology, and Chemistry at the elementary and high school levels, and as an online tutor for undergraduate courses at UNIVESP.Her areas of interest and expertise include biomaterials, drug delivery, natural products, regenerative medicine, cancer research, and nanocarrier development.
