I am a professor in the Department of Architecture, Urbanism, and Applied Arts at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (DAUAP/UFSJ) since 2013 and the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Arts, Urbanities, and Sustainability (PIPAUS/UFSJ), active since 2016. I hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from FEC/Unicamp (2014), with a focus on Sanitation and Environment, and a Masters degree in Geography from IGE/Unicamp (2008), specializing in Environmental Analysis and Territorial Dynamics. I earned my degree in Architecture and Urbanism from FAAC/UNESP in 2005.In 2024, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Facultad del Hábitat of the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), Mexico. My research focused on inclusion and accessibility in green spaces, employing case studies to propose future scenarios and inclusive intervention strategies to promote the right to nature for all.Since 2015, I have coordinated the Architectural and Urban Accessibility Group (GRAAU/UFSJ) and the Group on Non-Verbal Language, Territorial Action, and Universal Design (GLAD), registered in the CAES Academic Directory. I have also served on the Accessibility Commission of UFSJ (COACE), the Advisory Council for the Conservation Units (APA and REVS Libélulas da Serra de São José), the Accessibility, Diversity, and Work Research Center (NACE), and the Laboratory for Studies on Technical Networks and Socio-Environmental Sustainability (FLUXUS/Unicamp).My academic and professional expertise spans participatory methodologies, territorial planning and management, sustainable subdivisions, socio-environmental governance, risk prevention, social cartography, participatory master plans, and sustainable urbanism. Additionally, I work on participatory design, watershed management, accessible mobility, and extension projects, with a particular focus on affective mapping, intersemiotic translation, phenomenology, and informal urban education.
