Veterinarian graduated from the Octávio Bastos University Center - UNIFEOB, in São João da Boa Vista, SP. Holds a Master's degree in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences - UNESP, Jaboticabal, SP. Interested in Wildlife Conservation, with a focus on Genetics and Mammal Taxonomy. Experienced in molecular cytogenetic techniques (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization), taxidermy, management, behavior, feeding, reproduction, and the collection of biological material from captive and wild animals in the field. Currently a GEF-Terrestrial fellow at the National Research and Conservation Center for Carnivorous Mammals (CENAP/ICMBio). Supports research and field expeditions, including capture campaigns, and assists in the collection and organization of mammal samples for population genomics and reference genome projects, linked to the Brazilian Biodiversity Genomics project, across different biomes.
