Has a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, São Paulo State University, Jaboticabal, São Paulo, Brazil (FCAV/UNESP). Has a PhD in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) with an emphasis on plant proteomics from the same institution. Currently, is a post-doc researcher with FAPESP fellowship at the Max Feffer Laboratory for Plant Genetics, Department of Genetics, College of Agriculture 'Luiz de Queiroz', University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP).
