Juliana Vieira Wahl Pereira

MA in Social Anthropology, University of São Paulo (USP). Bachelor and Licensed in Social Sciences from the same institution (2017). Developed master's research on topics such as: reproductive rights, gender, race and sexuality in Uruguay, based on an ethnography in sexual and reproductive health centers before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. During graduation, carried out two academic exchanges, the first at the Universidad de la República (Uruguay) and the second, with a USP merit scholarship, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where developed a research project on inequality, power and public policies.Worked as an assistant researcher in the project "Effectiveness of social movements in public policies in comparative perspective" with a CNPq grant, under the guidance of Dr Maria do Carmo Alves Albuquerque at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP). She is an associate researcher at NUMAS (Nucleus of Studies on Social Markers of Difference) as well as at the study group coordinated by Prof. Heloísa Buarque de Almeida at FFLCH/USP.She worked as a social policy analyst at Instituto Capixaba de Ensino Pesquisa e Inovação em Saúde (ICEPi) acting as a researcher on social participation in health at the State Health Council of the State of Espírito Santo. Currently works as a technical consultant at the Coordination for Women's Health Care (COSMU) at the Ministry of Health, working in the area of sexual and reproductive health policies.
