Biomedical sciences degree by ASCES (2011). Master's degree (2014) and a PhD (2018) in Genetics in the Federal University of Pernambuco. During the master's and doctorate he worked in development characterization and projects of proteins with antigenic potential for diagnostic tests and vaccine against human and canine visceral leishmaniasis; and genomic studies on virulence proteins of Leishmania braziliensis. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Oxford Brookes (UK), where he conducts studies related to the cellular biology of the flagellum in trypanosomatids. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
