Felipe Marticorena holds a degree in Nutrition from Centro Universitário São Camilo. He is currently pursuing a direct Ph.D. in Medicine at the University of São Paulo (USP), focusing on the impact of the placebo effect on physiological parameters and sports performance. He is a member of the Research Group in Applied Physiology and Nutrition and is enrolled in an MBA program in Data Science and Analytics at the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP). In 2022, Felipe received the Young Investigator in Sports Nutrition award from the American College of Sports Medicine. During his undergraduate studies, he was involved in Scientific Initiation projects at the USP's School of Public Health, focusing on phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity, and at the Faculty of Medicine, working on genetic polymorphism, supplementation, and athletes' performance. After completing his undergraduate degree, he was awarded a research scholarship by The Physiological Society, which enabled him to spend 12 weeks at Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom.
