Maria Paula Perruchi

Physical therapist graduated from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in 2019. Co-founder and current partner at Octo Centro de Saúde Esportiva (2025), where she focuses on injury prevention, functional rehabilitation, and healthcare service management. Currently specializing in Pain Management, with a master's degree initiated in Clinical and Occupational Kinesiotherapy (2020). Completed a continuing education course in Exercise Physiology at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 2020. Enrolled in an MBA in Leadership and Management at ESALQ/USP (2024), with an emphasis on leadership strategies, organizational culture, and the development of multidisciplinary teams.In 2023, she worked as a sports physical therapist for the Ser Unimed Sorocaba team, supporting high-performance athletes through rehabilitation, recovery, and injury prevention programs.During her undergraduate studies, she served as a teaching assistant in the Kinesiotherapy course (2017), participated in the Therapeutic Group for Individuals with Chronic Hemiparesis at LaFiN (2015), contributed to the Physical Therapy Clinic for Athletes (AMFE) (2018), and was head of the organizing committee for the XXIV UFSCar Physical Therapy Symposium (2017). She also conducted scientific research at the Muscle Plasticity Laboratory (2018).In 2020, she worked as a research assistant in a FAPESP-funded project: "O uso de mesa de altura ajustável pode afetar o nível de atividade física e composição corporal de trabalhadores administrativos com sobrepeso e obesidade?", focusing on ergonomics and occupational health.
