Founder and CEO of Maritaca AI and a volunteer professor at UNICAMP.He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (2009) and a master's degree in Computer Engineering (2014), both from the State University of Campinas, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2019) in the field of Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Information Retrieval from New York University, where he was advised by Professor Kyunghyun Cho. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo (Canada) where he worked with Professor Jimmy Lin. He has worked at Google Research and Microsoft Research with deep learning.
