Graduated in Biological Sciences (Teaching) from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of São Paulo - São Roque Campus (2016), and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from the Graduate Program in Genetics at the Institute of Biosciences of Unesp, Botucatu. In 2014, she was awarded a CAPES scholarship to pursue a sandwich degree at Washington Jefferson College in Washington-PA, lasting 1 year and 2 months. During this period, she took courses related to Biology and English language improvement, earning a place on the Dean's List.Between June and July 2015, she completed an internship at The George Washington University in Washington-DC, in the Department of Forensic Science. In the years 2017 and 2018, she worked as a teacher at Colégio Anglo in Taquarituba, teaching Science for Fundamental II and Biology for High School.Furthermore, she completed an internship in molecular genetics of microorganisms at the Telomeres Laboratory at UNESP - Botucatu Campus, where she earned her PhD and is currently pursuing her postdoctoral studies.
